Welcome to Singapore! This time, I'm travelling with my family. This is my younger sister's first time to go out of the country and I'm sure she had a blast. Singapore is such an incredible city and you'll never run out of things to do here. This is my second time in Singapore, and the first time I came here, I already fell in love with the city. But this time around, the new Changi International Airport Terminal 4 greeted us, and it made my impression of Singapore even better. This amazing airport has carpeted floors and wifi connection for every tourists. To avail of internet connection, just go to kiosks and use your passports. Its a super high tech airport and to top it all of, it has spacious comfort rooms! TRANSPORTATION From Terminal 4, there's free bus service taking you to Terminal 2 where you can ride the MRT to any point of the city. You just need to buy an MRT card and you can easily top it up at any vending machine in every station. WIFI CONNECTION Like I said above, there's wifi in the airport, but if you want to constantly have internet connection, you have an option to buy a sim card. I bought a sim card for tourists consumable for 7 days, with 100gig data for only SGD15. The data was super fast and reliable, and I definitely recommend you buying it to help you find destinations around the city. MEALS As soon as we arrived at the airport, we bought a Tom yum soup at the food court. But soon as we met our older sister in Singapore, we went for another meal in another food court >.<. Because what is Singapore known for aside from incredible structures? Their incredible food. ACCOMMODATION We stayed at an HDB at Bukit Batok, where my sister lives. Its in the more rural part of Singapore, but what's great is that its very spacious at Bukit Batok with lots of parks around. I'll talk more about this place on my next blog.
CENTRAL PERK One of the things that also made me excited to return to Singapore is because of the Central Perk Cafe, just walking distance from Clark Quay Central. I'm such a huge FRIENDS fan and it really made me feel like a kid in a candy store as I went to this cafe. That's all for day one. Stick around as I write about our day 2 in Singapore. :)
